Rooming House Transformation

TOTAL RENOVATION

In early 2021, we acquired one of Atlantic City’s most infamous (for all the wrong reasons) rooming houses, “Alice’s Hotel.” Poorly maintained, with non-paying occupants, the building was raided by police multiple times within the first few weeks of our ownership. After working with the city, we were able to vacate the building to begin renovations.

After encountering unexpected structural issues, including those leading to the unfortunate dismantling of the “Osprey Project” mural by muralist Evan Lovett, we are knee-deep in renovations to save the building, and transform it into usable space.
